about the n.o.p. life

the n.o.p. life started as a photo blog about life north of Princess St in Kingston, ON. I moved to Kingston in May 2010 for a 12 month internship and a chance to have a life again after spending more than enough time dedicated to my school work. There were some preconceptions about what a life north of Princess is like. But I knew I wanted my nop life to be crafty, delicious, beautiful, and above all, happy. It was all of those things (except maybe crafty). And even though I only visit my n.o.p. home now, I still live the n.o.p. life as much as possible.

bacon jam

This post is about bacon jam. For those of you who were not aware: yes, there is such a thing as bacon jam. It was invented by beautiful people who have a great understanding of life and the universe. This summer at the cottage, my aunt, my cousin and I made baguette toasts, spread guacamole on them, topped them with bruschetta, then dolloped on a dollop of bacon jam. We said, "God is good" and then ate them up.
