about the n.o.p. life

the n.o.p. life started as a photo blog about life north of Princess St in Kingston, ON. I moved to Kingston in May 2010 for a 12 month internship and a chance to have a life again after spending more than enough time dedicated to my school work. There were some preconceptions about what a life north of Princess is like. But I knew I wanted my nop life to be crafty, delicious, beautiful, and above all, happy. It was all of those things (except maybe crafty). And even though I only visit my n.o.p. home now, I still live the n.o.p. life as much as possible.

glory hole doughnuts

Has everyone heard of Glory Hole in Parkdale? (The doughnut shop - don't worry you are safe to click on that link.) Well we tried it out for the first time just last weekend and were totally blown away. There was so much glory in these doughnut holes. I will be back for more, that's for sure. We had the Cookies & Cream and the Bread & Butter. Cookies & Cream tasted just like Cookies & Cream should taste (AMAZING), and Bread and Butter tasted just like heaven. Actually like a mix between heaven and the doughnut version of Beaver Tails. I recommend you all try the Glory Hole experience.
