the n.o.p. life started as a photo blog about life north of Princess St in Kingston, ON. I moved to Kingston in May 2010 for a 12 month internship and a chance to have a life again after spending more than enough time dedicated to my school work. There were some preconceptions about what a life north of Princess is like. But I knew I wanted my nop life to be crafty, delicious, beautiful, and above all, happy. It was all of those things (except maybe crafty). And even though I only visit my n.o.p. home now, I still live the n.o.p. life as much as possible.

I took these photos on a sunny Sunday afternoon on the way over to pick up some doughnuts. Ossington turned into Queen West turned into West Queen West turned into Roncesvailles.
